Enzyme Floor Cleaner

Enzyme floor cleaners use live Bacillus bacteria that produce enzymes to break down fats, oils, grease, and other organic matter at the molecular level. Unlike regular degreasers that only thin out contaminants, the enzymes actually consume organic residues, eliminating odors at the source and leaving no slippery film behind.

Yes. Enzyme floor cleaners are formulated with a neutral pH and contain no bleach, acids, or solvents, making them safe for tile, grout, stone, vinyl, ceramic, and other hard floor surfaces. They clean deeply without causing discoloration or surface damage.

Enzyme floor cleaners are especially well suited to commercial kitchen environments where FOG (fats, oils, and grease) buildup is a recurring problem. The bacillus-based formula penetrates grout lines and porous flooring to digest organic residues and control odors between scheduled cleanings.

For corrective cleaning, dilute 8–10 oz per gallon of water. For routine preventive maintenance, use 2–4 oz per gallon. Always use cool or warm water, hot water can deactivate the live bacterial cultures. Do not mix with bleach or disinfectants.

Enzyme floor cleaners eliminate odors rather than masking them. The bacteria digest the organic matter, food residues, grease, and other FOGs that cause foul smells. Once that material is consumed, there is nothing left to generate odor, so results last longer than with conventional deodorizers.
