Low and High pH Two-Step Wash Chemicals for Truck and Fleet Washing

Fleet Wash Chemicals two-step wash process (Formerly the Lift-Off and Blast-Off Bundle) is a proven system for cleaning trucks, trailers, and other fleet vehicles. It utilizes a combination of Grip (acidic) and Rip (alkaline) detergents to break down tough road film, remove oxidation, and achieve a bright, streak-free finish without excessive brushing.

Applications

Step 1: Grip (Acidic Cleaner)

In a five gallon pail add, one gallon Grip with four gallons of water. Drop chemical pick up in to pail. Apply to surface at a rate of 1:60.
Apply Grip first to dry surfaces via a foam, spray, or downstream injector.
Works best on aluminum trailers, wheels, and painted surfaces.
Allow 15-20 seconds dwell time.

Step 2: Rip Detergent (Alkaline Cleaner)

In a five gallon pail add, one gallon Rip with four gallons of water. Drop chemical pick up in to pail. Apply to surface treated with Grip at a rate of 1:60.
Works best on aluminum trailers, wheels, and painted surfaces.

RINSING:

After Rip has been applied to entire surface, thoroughly rinse to remove all soils and detergent residues.
